In my audience feedback people commented on how they would see it because it is up for awards. So i made sure that it was put in on my ancillary products. For my magazine i had a proffesional critic Rogert Ebert state that it's 'the best film of the 21st century'. For my media poster i had in big, bold, red letters that it is the winner of 3 cannes awards, a very prestigous awards that is usually given to a more indipendent film. Also in my trailer i added it in there as a subtitle.
Star quality is a brilliant way to get in a pre-determined audience. As the audience members would pay to see the latest star in the new film. Hence why my actress Rachel Redpath is used in my magazine cover aswell, so people will pick it up and therefore get more publicity for the film.
In most drama films, there is iconography that audience members always associate, like the rose petals in American Beauty (1999, Sam Mendez). An envelop is used throughout all products to make sure that the audience is able to recognise the film, where ever they were to go. But becasue i used it in both my ancillary it was important that a shot of the letters were dominant in the trailer
I also added a faux website in order for my audience to check out more on the teaser, because this teaser trailer was left really ambigous so i felt the need to do so. Also there is more star quality here as i put the cast list, just incase people see anyone there who they didn't see in the trailer.
